Short Course

This five week course is designed to develop your photographic skills and build confidence in photographic techniques from pre to post-production. The course will cover lessons in aperture, ISO, shutter speed and lighting techniques, exploring studio and location photography, as well as developing and printing images.

This course can act as a precursor to the BA Hons in Photography and for those who are interested in studying Higher Education at University Centre Farnborough.

This five week course provides an introduction for anyone wanting to learn Photoshop from scratch. This course has been designed for students who want to learn the professional and most effective way to use Photoshop from the ground up to develop your skills and build confidence in image manipulation techniques. Working knowledge of the Windows or Macintosh operating system is required.

This introductory course provides you with the opportunity to try out a range of textile techniques. You will learn the basics of tray dyeing, indigo shibori, cyanotypes and eco-printing and will be able to create a range of reference sample fabrics. The course is designed to give students hands-on practical experience in a range of textile processes which could then be used in their own creative textile/fashion work.
