Detailed Description
Dear Parent/Guardian
As part of the Engineering course that your learner is studying, we are organising an educational trip to the Science Museum in London; in particular their new Engineers Gallery, which celebrates engineers and their extraordinary stories across four themes: Bodies, Lives, Connections and Creating.
The trip is organised for Wednesday 29th January 2025 and is open to all Engineering learners but there are only 50 places available so will be on a first come first served basis. Learners will be travelling to London by coach, at a cost is £18.00 each, which covers the coach fees; entrance to the Science Museum is free. The coach will be leaving the college at 09:00am and returning at approximately 17:00pm.
We believe that this visit will be of upmost benefit to our learners, giving them an insight into who engineers are and the technologies that they create that influences lives across the world.
Once payment has been received to confirm your place, learners must complete and sign a permission slip which will be made available to them and return to their course tutor. If you have any further questions relating to this visit, please do not hesitate to contact their tutor.
