Projects Abroad Nutrition, Teaching & Community volunteering trip to Peru

This group trip offers a unique chance for students to gain a cultural overview of Peru and the chance to help provide educational lessons to children, focusing on healty eating, cooking nutritious meals and running workshops to teach children about looking after their health.  In return you will learn about the culture in Peru,  how to cook a variety of traditional Peruvian meals and snacks, using methods and ingredients that are common in this part of the country.

Students will be accompanied by FCoT staff at all times during the visit.

Departure 2nd April - 18th April 2025

There is a maximum of 10 places available to students. The cost per student is envisioned to be in the region of £3,200, which will need to be paid in full by January 2025; various fund-raising activities are planned to try and help reduce the cost of the trip per person.

A non-refundable payment of £100 is required to secure your place on the Residential trip.

More detail of the trip will be made available, and question and answer meetings with all parents of the learners going on the trip will be held, once places have been confirmed.
