Educational Trip to New York, United States of America 

As part of the Travel & Tourism course that your child is studying, we are planning an educational trip to New York City, USA. This trip will provide an exclusive opportunity for learners to discover how their subject is put into practice in this world-famous tourist destination; as well as during their journey to and from the destination by Virgin Atlantic, and at London Heathrow and New York JFK Airports.

A comprehensive itinerary has been planned for this trip to give learners maximum exposure to a variety of tourist attractions, places of interest, and activities, all of which directly relate to the units they will be studying as part of their course.

We are using Travelbound (www.travelbound.co.uk) to provide us with the necessary arrangements for this trip. Travelbound is a specialist educational tour operator offering tours to support the curriculum of school and further education college groups. They are fully ABTA and ATOL bonded, members of The Federation of Tour Operators, and have been accredited with the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge scheme. They are also a full member of the School Travel Forum (STF), whilst providing first-class customer service support. Travelbound also encourages offsetting carbon emissions and volunteering to help local communities both at home and abroad.

To secure a place on the trip a non-refundable deposit of £300.00 is payable by Monday 23^rd September 2024. The remaining balance will need to be paid in four instalments. Please see below details for further payment deadlines. The final balance will be due by Monday 6^th January 2025.
