Dear Parent/Guardian
I am arranging a visit to the Graduate Fashion Week in London on Thursday 13th June 2024.
This is a great opportunity for your son/daughter to see fashion/textile university courses, the work that their students produce and gain an idea of what courses are on offer to them after Farnborough College of Technology. For second year students they can have a look at the universities that they will be attending in September and get a detailed idea of the work they will be doing.
We will be travelling to London Waterloo by train, leaving Farnborough Main train station at 10.00 am and returning for approximately 6.00 pm. Can students please meet college lecturers at Farnborough Main Railway Station at 9.30 am.
The cost of the Exhibition ticket is £26.00. This will need to be paid by Friday 3rd May 2024 in order for us to secure any tickets.
Students will then need to pay for their train fare on the day of the trip. The cost of this is approximately £25.00 bought individually.
Your son/daughter will need to bring a packed lunch, digital camera and a notebook in order to record observations made on the day along with wearing sensible footwear and clothing that takes into account the weather conditions on that day.
Students must stay for the whole duration of the day; they will not be allowed to leave early.

Every student needs to complete the permission slip attached, without this the student cannot attend. Please return this permission slip to Sam Jones via your son/daughter by Friday 3rd May 2024.
